Reasons to Celebrate!

And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea. They sang: "Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever.” Revelation 5:13

Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life. Philippians 2:14-16

As Members of the church of Christ, as those who belong to the body of Christ, and as those who have had their sins forgiven and been blessed with the guiding light of God's Holy Spirit, we have so much to celebrate! He has given us eyes to see beyond this natural world. we know that we have been invited to join even the angels in praising Him! We have been rescued from darkness and been made pure and clean, as bright as the stars in the universe, and given the privilege of holding out the word of life to show others the way to a right relationship with our Creator.

There is an old hymn in our songbooks that prays "Let the beauty of Jesus be seen in me."
